Victory International Ministries (VIM) was
the outcome of a dream planted in the heart
of a man whose sole desire is to serve God
with wholehearted devotion. Reverend Irving
Rose was on his way back to the United
States on an 18 hour flight from South
Africa when he began to ponder the
possibilities of a ministry that could
impact the world with the message of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. Several thoughts,
prayers and strategies later, VIM emerged as
a
501-3c corporation which sought to partner
with ministries around the world.
Major Exploits
Guyana Flood.
Many homes were affected by the 2005 flood
in Guyana as persons lost their belongings,
livestock and even their lives. VIM got on
board and answered the call for help by
providing food for over 500 families. Many
were saved from hunger’s grasp as VIM
reached out in a very practical way to those
who needed help.
Camp and Revivals in Guyana.
In 2006, VIM crossed the seas again to
partner with churches in Guyana to bring the
message of hope and love to those who needed
to hear. Many youths were impacted because
of this labor of love as VIM deliberately
imparted into their lives through sound
Biblical preaching and teaching and life
skills enhancement. Revivals held in Bartica
and Vreed en Hoop yielded phenomenal results
as many were challenged from the Word of God
and hearts touched. While they were there,
VIM also facilitated a Financial Seminar and
luncheon with Pastors and leaders.
Over the years, VIM has also sought to offer
aid to persons who have suffered as a result
of several natural disasters including the
Hurricane in Grenada, Earthquake in Haiti
and Hurricane Katrina. In keeping with their
ministry focus, VIM has been involved in
Prison Ministry and facilitating financial
seminars. Their ministry in Africa continued
with a 20 member missionary trip to Lagos
and Aba, Nigeria.
Three nation Africa
Missionary trip in 2012-2013. VIM is on the move once again and this
time they are headed to Nigeria, Togo and
Ghana. You can be a part of what God is
doing in Africa. Join us as we take the love
of Jesus with us. |
